Welcome to the Clwyd Fine Art Trust's website. Created by the Joint Area Museum Education Service, from the Clwyd Fine Art Trust Collection, this website is based on the requirements of the National Curriculum in Wales. Within the website there are various themes including industry, structures, landscapes and people, amongst others. The work of some of Wales’ most prominent artists can also be found, such as Sir Kyffin Williams, Peter Prendergast, Will Roberts and Emrys Williams.
When looking at art we should concentrate on the line, shape, colour, texture, pattern and form within the work as well as the content. It is possible to work out what the artist is attempting to say through technique as well as through the title or the subject of the work. In this exhibition we see various styles and techniques, each of which say something about the feelings and influences of the artist.
