LIFE
LONG LEARNING
The
V&A’s national competition and display celebrating adult learners’
week, 17-23 May 2008.
Inspired
by…
is the V&A's annual art competition for people on part-time courses,
and in 2007/2008 Bodelwyddan Castle is taking part for the first time.
Participants create a work of art or craft inspired by Bodelwyddan
Castle’s collections or the building itself.
Entries are judged by a panel of museum staff and community
representatives and the winners will be displayed in the Castle alongside
their inspiration during Adult Learners’ Week and beyond. Winners will
also receive a prize.
Inspired
by…
celebrates Adult
Learners' Week and is supported by NIACE, the National Institute of
Continuing Education. Guidelines and Application Forms are available

The
deadline for sending in applications is Friday 7th March 2008.
Groups
or classes wanting to visit Bodelwyddan Castle especially for the
competition can do so on a special group rate admission price of £2 per
person. Groups or classes
wanting to hold a special workshop at the Castle for Inspired by … can
also negotiate use of the education room.
