in your Garden
14th
March - 28th May
Did
you know that we all have dinosaurs in our gardens? This new
exhibition examines the link between modern garden birds and pre-historic
giants such as the Tyrannosaurs Rex, with some exciting displays, fossil
collections and dinosaur bones!
There
will be a number of activities available throughout the duration of the
exhibition that every member of the family will enjoy.
The
Great Dinosaur Hunt: Pick up an Explorer's Map from the
Castle Gift Shop and take a walk on the wild side! Follow the trail
around our beautiful parkland and hunt for the missing dinosaur bones as
you go. All completed dinosaur trails can be handed back in at the
shop, where you will receive a special dino prize!
Fossil
Study Centre: An opportunity for budding paleontologists of
all ages to examine in microscopic detail fossil specimens found in North
Wales and elsewhere in the UK, with books and pictures to help you
identify the finds. Apply what you learn to go on your own dinosaur
hunt adventure when you get home!
Dinosaur
Art Cart: A range of fun, arty, dinosaur activities for all
the family to enjoy.
Special
Workshops: Our resident dinosaur experts will be hosting a
