Celtic Connections - crafts from Ireland and Wales

Celtic Connections has been organised in partnership with the Waterfront Gallery in Milford Haven and has evolved from the Wales Ireland Network of Craft Design, a partnership between parts of Wales and Counties Carlow, Kilkenny and Wicklow.

The craft sector is an important part of the rural economy but at the same time a number of important traditional craft skills are at risk of dying out.  This partnership is an opportunity for the work of artists and makers in the Celtic regions at all stages in their careers to reach new audiences, to revive traditional crafts and to share experience and skills.

Celtic Connections is a hand-picked selection of work by makers from Ireland and South West Wales and in the adjacent Craft & Design gallery is the work of selected North Wales makers.  All work is available for purchase and for items over £50 the CollectorPlan scheme can provide an interest-free loan allowing you to spread your payments out over ten months.
