NORTH WALES BOAT JUMBLE

Nautequipe
Marine Supplies Ltd will once again be running the North Wales Boat Jumble
in the grounds of Bodelwyddan Castle, junction 25 of the A55 near St Asaph.
The jumble will feature
up to 120 trade stands selling a vast array of discounted new and used
boating equipment from anchors to radar systems, there’s always plenty of
bargains to be found no matter what your budget.
There will also be a used
boat sale section and marine car boot for locals clearing out their
unwanted boating bits.
Opens to the public at
10 am Sunday 2nd August
Sorry but due to health &
safety restrictions members of the public may not bring dogs onto the
jumble site

8th & 9th August: Medieval
Festival
Medieval Market, Arena Events, Living History Camps, Falconry,
Combat Displays, Exotic Dancers, and a Battle!!!
Go back through time, to the Middle Ages!
Traditional Medieval Festival, complete with Medieval Traders and
Craftsmen, plus various bands of rough soldiery and noble household
retinues on campaign in the long and bloody struggles between England and
Wales briefly taking their ease and honing their skills.
Each
day culminates in a very nasty and potentially deadly Battle, as the
seasoned re-enactors create for your enjoyment and wonder the noise and
spectacle of a clash of arms from this violent and colourful period.
Open 10am to 6pm Saturday, 10 am to 4pm Sunday.
Admission: £10 Adults, £5 children under 16. Under 4 free of
charge.
Not recommended for small babies or dogs because of the VERY LOUD
potential gun fire.

30th & 31st August: Bodelwyddan Castle Show and Hot
Air Balloon Extravaganza 2009
Mass hot air balloon launch (Sat/Sun – weather permitting), children’s
fair rides, mini market/trade village, big beer marquee, live acts, large
arts and crafts marquee and much much more!
Night Glow
(Sat 9.30pm to 10.00pm and Sun 9.30pm to 10.00pm)
- Watch in amazement as
the hot air
balloons line up in the arena and burn their burners in time to the music,
accompanied by a magnificent fireworks display, a spectacle not to be
missed!!
Admission:
Saturday / Sunday / Monday - Entry £4.00 (Children under 4yrs - Free),
Family Ticket £12.00 (Based on 2 adults & 2 children), Friday Night ONLY
£2 Entry & All Fun Fair Rides £1.
Show opening times: Saturday 9:30am – 10pm, Sunday 9:30am – 10pm, Monday
10am – 8:30pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are not allowed on site at any time except during the
BASC (Wales) Country Fair (and must always be kept on a lead unless
