The Paranormal at Bodelwyddan Castle

Misty BodelwyddanIn 1829, during one of the periods of restoration, it was noted in the diary of Sir John Hay Williams that human bones were found near one of the chimneys. Sir John also stated that he had the bones built back into the wall, which means they are still there to this day. Could this be the cause of the paranormal activity at Bodelwyddan Castle? Or is there something else in the Castle’s history, which makes this one of the most haunted buildings in Wales?

There have been many ghostly happenings reported over the past few years. They include:

● A mysterious lady in a flowing dress in the Sculpture Gallery

● Shadowy figures drifting down corridors and through walls

● Unexplained voices, sounds and lights

● Visitors saying that their hair has been pulled

Paranormal
ParanormalParanormal Investigation, 15th April 2006.

A participant on the investigation took this picture in the Staircase Hall. A face looks as if it's materialising above the lights.

This image was taken in the Toys and Games Room. There seems to be an anomaly on the wall. A close up of the image shows what looks like a hooded figure. Or is this just a strange reflection from the metal rail above?
