Craft & Design
If you are interested in the work of local Welsh artists, perhaps you
want to start your own collection or are looking for the perfect gift for
a special occasion, Craft & Design will have something for you.
Craft & Design is a new commercial gallery space located above the
Castle Gift Shop. Craft
& Design provides a
showcase and outlet for exclusive art, craft and design pieces produced by
North Wales based artists, including ceramics, glass, jewellery,
furniture, boxes, photography, textiles and painted canvases. Each
artist has been handpicked as a result of their exceptional talent in
their particular fields.
A list of
all featured artists will be added shortly.
Castle Gift Shop
Whether you are looking or a memento of your visit, seasonal gifts,
educational resources or a little surprise for someone special, there will
be something for you at Castle Gift Shop, no matter what your age or area
of interest.
Castle Gift Shop offers a wide range of products, such as literature,
retro Toys and Games, kitchen accessories, collectables, jewellery
(including Clogau Gold), exhibition catalogues and pantry treats.
Caffi Castell
Why not treat yourself to some traditional,
freshly prepared snacks in Caffi Castell. The Contemporary
surroundings of this popular cafe provide a striking contrast to the
period decor in the historic house. Fancy a breath of fresh
air? Place your order at the main counter then find yourself a sunny
spot on the Tea Room Terrace or within the Bailey Courtyard and enjoy a
game of giant chess or draughts while you wait.
Caffi Castell specialises in home baked goods and always has a mouth
watering selection of savoury delights, cakes and pastries. Don't
worry if you find it difficult to pick one treat, why not use our take
away service and get something to spoil yourself later in the day.
