A Victorian Christmas

A family event packed with activities throughout the day, for adults and children alike. (Times are approximate)
From 11.00 Bodelwyddan Castle is dressed for Christmas so meet some characters from the past and hear their stories as you explore the historic galleries.
11.30 – 12.30 Join the wonderful and unforgettable Mrs Humphries, our Victorian Housekeeper, on a tour of Bodelwyddan Castle. The tour starts in the Entrance Hall.
12.30 – 12.50 Welsh carols in the Sculpture Gallery – Côr Glannau Prestatyn
12.50 – 1.15 Parlour games (Dining Room, Ground Floor)
1.00 – 4.00 Art workshop: make Victorian inspired cards and decorations to take home (Education Room and Galleries on the 1st floor)
1.00 – 2.00 Storytelling: traditional seasonal tales told by Fiona Anguin (Ladies’ Drawing Room, Ground Floor)
1.15 – 1.30 Harp recital in the Sculpture Gallery – Morwen Blethyn
1.30 – 4.00 Meet the Victorian magician, Cho Whittle, as he roams about the house amazing you with his incredible powers of magic
1.50 – 2.15 Harp recital in the Sculpture Gallery – Morwen Blethyn
2.00 – 2.20 Parlour games (Dining Room, Ground Floor)
